Innov-AL platform II
The INNOV-AL project is organizing a new cycle of webinars focused on the needs of the Brazilian project participants, but open to anyone who is interested. This new cycle will have several sessions with a sectoral perspective, based on a specific case in Portugal, but this time focusing on the role that a cluster / association plays in the integration of a particular sector in global value-chains. and in promoting the implementation of smart specialization strategies.
In the framework of the EU-CELAC INNOV-AL Platform II project, a Seminar on Decentralized Innovation Policies was held in Yucatán (Mexico) on March 5. The event, organized in collaboration with the Yucatan Secretariat for Research, Innovation and Higher Education, brought together the main actors in the state's innovative ecosystem, including representatives of public organizations, universities and companies.
On February 5, a Seminar on Decentralized Innovation Policies was held in Aguascalientes (Mexico) within the framework of the EU-CELAC INNOV-AL Platform II project. The event had the participation of the Secretary of Economic Development of Aguascalientes Manuel Alejandro Gonzalez, and with the presence of numerous representatives of agents of the triple state school.
Support the dissemination and learning of the experience and good practices of the European regional policy and achieve greater cooperation between national and regional authorities in the participating countries.
Facilitate the sharing of information and lessons learned to contribute to the definition, implementation and management of innovation policies and smart specialization in Latin America.
Encourage collaboration between national and regional authorities from 6 countries in Latin America (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico and Peru) and their counterparts in the EU.
Analyze and assess the framework of innovation and decentralization, as well as reaching practical recommendations aimed at the participating countries.
Establishment of a platform for the transfer of knowledge and collaboration between the countries and regions of Latin America that enables shared learning and represents a point of reference in the definition and implementation of decentralized smart innovation and specialization policies .
The EU-CELAC INNOV-AL PLATFORM project has established participants in both Latin America and the European Union, this platform being one of the channels of communication and cooperation between participating countries, regions and entities.
